Where I Add Value

The Profile

A career built at the intersection of enterprise, capital and considered counsel.

For almost three decades, I have built, led and advised businesses across recruitment, property, technology, agriculture and investment — from entrepreneurial ventures to established organisations and institutional partnerships.

My work today sits where founders, boards and long-horizon capital meet: helping navigate complexity, shape strategy, build the right partnerships and make consequential decisions with clarity.

I divide my time between the United Kingdom and Pakistan, working selectively with founders, investors, family offices, boards and organisations where experience, judgement and international perspective can make a meaningful difference.

In Confidence

“Naveed combines a high level of integrity, business acumen and motivation to strive to each next level with a genuine lack of ego and easy injection of humour to ensure he enjoys the reputation of a first class businessman. ”
Simon Rofe ·CEO
“Naveed is a rare individual when you are in his company and listening to him talk about any subject matter he adds at least 25% to your own productivity and interest level. He is a leader, an innovator with high levels of energy and huge integrity. Anyone that works him will want to work with him again and repay his loyalty to you.”
Rafiq Chohan ·Economic Development Officer
“Naveed has an outstanding business acumen and has many business awards that endorse this. He is a credit to any organisation, whether he sits directly on the board, or in an advisory capacity.”

Investment

Family office investment: make liquidity explicit

A shared ambition is not a shared investment horizon. I look at the liquidity, funding and decision rights founders and family offices should settle before committing capital.

Essay No. 01

Leadership

Board independence when ownership is concentrated

An independent director cannot compensate for a board that is unable to challenge its controlling shareholder. The chair must make independent judgement possible in practice.

Essay No. 02

Negotiations

The room, the paper and the pause

Three under-used levers in high-stakes commercial negotiation, drawn from twenty-five years across the table.

Establish Contact

If the mandate is serious, the conversation should be private.

I take on a small number of engagements each year. If you are facing a consequential decision, transaction or board-level challenge where experienced judgement could make a difference, I would welcome a confidential conversation.
